Photowalk - Magic in the Mundane - Sunday 9th June 2024
Magic in the Mundane photowalks use digital photography to tune in and notice our everyday surroundings with fresh eyes. With creative prompts to help focus on textures, colours and details, we’ll use our cameras to connect with nature and the beauty that exists all around us - wherever we are!
No photography experience necessary
And no need for any fancy equipment - a mobile phone or simple digital camera is fine.
Please note - this session involves walking around the town and surrounding areas and attendees should wear clothing suitable for the weather as we'll be outdoors for at least 1 hour during the session. Comfortable shoes for walking and recomended.
About the tutor
Rachel Wright is a photographic artist based in Norwich. She holds an MA in Arts & Ecology from Dartington Arts School, and her multi-layered imagery is inspired by the natural world and the interplay between humans and nature. She is particularly interested in the way the arts can inspire people to see the interconnected nature of the world. Alongside and very much informed by her personal creative practice, Rachel works as a socially engaged arts facilitator, running courses and workshops focusing on creative experimentation, wellbeing and nature connection.
