THE CAMPBELL GALLERY AT THE BANK ARTS CENTRE Opened in November 2025, The Campbell Gallery is The Bank's new visual arts gallery and exhibition space generously gifted by The Abbey Foundation. The foundation honours the estate and legacy of prolific local artist Peter Campbell (1931-1989) - a prolific multidisciplinary artist, who lived and worked in The Abbey, Eye. Alongside the foundation’s aims of recording and archiving Peter’s life and works, the Foundation supported the renovation and redesign of our exhibition facilities to support The Bank as a cultural and community asset. The Campbell Gallery is now the primary home for our year-long curated exhibition programme showcasing regional artists and creatives. exhibitions programme. INSIDE THE GALLERY
The Campbell Gallery is an intimate exhibition space adjacent to our Main Hall, featuring a bright shopfront window, dimmable LED spotlighting, recessed pelmet light, and adjustable hanging system. The renovation project has seen a significant re-design of the space - relocating a wall to extend the space, bespoke hidden artwork and general storage and increased display space.
