EMOTION EXPOSED PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP - MONDAY 15 JUNE 2026
Emotion Exposed - Portrait Photography Workshop
Monday 15 June 2026
What makes a portrait truly come alive? It's not just about pointing a camera. It's about reading a person, understanding the story they carry, the light that suits them, the background that speaks without shouting. Every portrait asks a hundred quiet questions before a single frame is taken.
In this hands-on day, Adam Docker shares the instincts and techniques behind a great portrait. How to evaluate your subject, how to find and shape light, how to make considered decisions about location, mood and atmosphere. Whether you work with natural light or shape it yourself, whether you finish in camera or build something in post.
You'll leave understanding not just how to take a portrait, but how to see one.
Suitable for all experience levels.
Participants will leave with:
- A deeper understanding of what makes a portrait work
- Practical approaches to light, composition and location
- The confidence to make creative decisions in the moment
- Insight into Adam's own process, from first glance to final image
Suitable for all experience levels.
Important Notice - Attendees must bring their own iPhones and any video cameras
