Musical Bridges: Electronic Music Production Course
Join us for new Electronic Music Production course part of Orchestra Live's "Musical Bridges Project" - bringing our community together across generations to experience, create and celebrate music. Led by Carl Cole, Norfolk and Suffolk Music Hub musician.
Over the 3 days, build your own music track on BandLab that integrates samples of Britten Sinfonia players, recorded at the Inspiration Quartet Concert on Tuesday 15 September. Then hear the created works premiered at the Celebration Concert at Wingfield Barns on Thursday 12 November at 1.30pm.
Led by Carl Cole, Norfolk and Suffolk Music Hub musician.
Suitable for 11 – 18 year-olds
3 Sessions of the course:

All sessions are 10am – 3pm

Musical Bridges is an intergenerational arts initiative designed to bring people together through the power of music and creativity. The project is envisioned and produced by Orchestras Live and will involve Britten Sinfonia, the professional orchestra based in the Eastern Region. The project uses live orchestral music in initial concerts by a Britten Sinfonia Quartet, as an inspiration and starting point for groups within the community to make new music and song.
Musical Bridges is produced by Orchestras Live and developed in partnership with Wingfield Barns, The Bank Arts Centre and Britten Sinfonia. The project is funded thanks to Mid Suffolk District Council, Norfolk and Suffolk Music Hub and Orchestras Live, with in-kind support from the partner organisations
