Minty Spectre’s The Tailor of Gloucester
Following two years of bringing their performance of A Christmas Carol to The Bank, Minty Spectre return with a delightful retelling of The Tailor of Gloucester, presented in their distinctive and atmospheric style.
The evening opens with a lively concert of festive music, blending contemporary and historical pieces to set the seasonal mood. After the interval, audiences are invited into the magical world of Beatrix Potter’s beloved tale — her personal favourite among her stories.
Set on Christmas Eve, the story follows a poor tailor facing an impossible task, until a troop of industrious mice step in to lend an unexpected helping hand. Told as a charming one-person narration, accompanied by close-harmony quartet singing traditional and original Christmas music.
