NEW! FRIDAY ART CLUB


Join us for this inspiring weekly art session to get creative, meet new people and explore a range of materials and techniques. These casual sessions are tutored by local Artist, Claire Bright, are a safe space to enjoy art together and suitable for all levels and abilities.


Content of the session will vary, each week exploring different themes, subjects, art history genres, techniques and materials. Individuals are welcome to attend one-off sessions, every session or drop-in and drop-out!


Important Notice - due to current schedule, these sessions will be held in our upstairs space. Please get in touch with our team if you have any mobility needs or concerns


Friday Mornings (Weekly during term-time)

10am to 12pm

£5 per person - materials included and café open for drinks

These sessions are part of The Bank's "Creative Workshop Programme"

Funded by Suffolk County Council's Culture Fund


About the Tutor:

Claire Bright is an experienced educator. She completed a Batchelor of Education, then gained qualified teacher status and went on to lead Art in various primary settings. She has been drawing and painting all of her life. She has exhibited her work in London and in local Suffolk art shows. Claire is passionate about the natural world and enjoys plein air painting (when the weather allows). She gained a Masters Degree in Outdoor Environmental Education and loved reading research about the benefits of nature. Her own art practice, is very exploration led and can be abstract or contemporary. She explores and enjoys the creative process and doesn’t always paint or draw the same things. She believes that everyone can be creative.
