Chris Fox - Live at The Bank

Saturday 7th November 2026

Returning to The Bank! Award winning 21st Century contemporary singer-songwriter Chris Fox is an independent musician spanning the roots lexicon of Folk, Americana, Country and Blues. A genre defying troubadour, audiences are enthralled by his rich vocals, complex guitar playing, and loop pedal alchemy finding Chris to be humorous & thought provoking in equal measures. His naturally laid back, unostentatious style creates the perfect ambience for an intimate and inclusive live experience drawing listeners in with tales of the everyday and the unexpected.

Chris Fox is a consummate performer - dictionary definition of that is "Supremely accomplished or skilled". Well, that fits the bill nicely - cool, spare guitar, strong but sensitive voice, thoughtful original songs, and amazing skills with his loop station. What an amazing, unexpected, haunting version of Bad Moon Rising, looped into new life! But mostly it was his own songs - all beautifully created. He's an outstanding talent.

Nick Peake, Leigh Acoustic Nights, May 2024

Sunday afternoon is full of revelations. This, after all, is why we love festivals – we get to see something new, someone to excite. Chris Fox is exactly that. A brilliant singer-songwriter with a warm and easy charm and a whole stack of great songs.

Gavin McNamara, B247, Bristol Folk Festival May 2024.

'Utterly breathtaking with amazing songs, confident guitar and a stunning voice, "one of the best live performances I have seen for a long time” shades of Son House, John Martyn, KT Tunstall and Duke Ellington! FATEA June ‘23

"Chris Fox - this fella’s got something about

him, he’s a class act, a great writer and a fantastic performer. IN PLAIN SIGHT - Just sheer genius!"

Frank Hennessey, BBC RADIO WALES, September 2022
