ABOUT OUR EXHIBITIONS PROGRAMME
We are excited to announce from May 2023 The Bank Arts Centre (Eyes Open CIC) has been awarded funding from Babergh & Mid Suffolk District Councils to restructure our exhibitions programme for a trial 6-month period. This project will feature a programme of 6 curated exhibitions within a not-for-profit gallery model to provide inclusive and accessible opportunities for East-Anglian based artists and creatives.
This programme will - provide a platform for young and emerging artists; provide opportunities to support career pathways into the creative arts; provide work-experience and volunteering placements for individuals to improve skills, knowledge, and wellbeing through participation; make the arts more accessible and increase community engagement.
The Bank Arts Centre is an identified asset to BMSDC Culture, Heritage, and Visitor Economy Strategy 2023 – 2028 and we have ambitious aims to create a thriving cultural hub for our community to socialise, create, and connect.
