-Submissions are now open for The Bank Art Centre's Summer Open Call Exhibition!
Our annual Summer exhibition aims to showcase the diversity of this region's incredible creativity and this opportunity is open to all artists and creatives based in East Anglia. This is an open brief - artists can submit work of any genre or subject. We encourage submissions from students, young artists and professionals alike. We are open to all media - may include (but are not limited to) painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, sculpture, photography, mixed media or textile.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
Artists can submit up to 5 artworks for consideration.
Submissions close at 4pm on Monday 20th May 2024. Artists will be notified whether their submission was successful by Sunday 26th May 2024.
Selected artworks must be delivered to The Bank Arts Centre at 2 Castle Street, Eye, Suffolk, IP23 7AN by Saturday 8th June at the latest. It is the artist’s responsibility to deliver and collect their work from The Bank Arts Centre on the arranged times. Further details about delivery of artwork will be provided to the artists selected for the exhibition.
The exhibition will be open to the public from 12th June 2024 - 3rd August 2024.
Please ensure that all artworks submitted are available for this period.
Fees: Submission to this open call is free. We kindly ask all selected artists to pay £30 towards the running costs of the exhibition.
The Bank Art Centre takes 25% commission on sales of artwork. For student artists, we charge 10% sales commission.
The Bank is a not-for-profit CIC and all sales commission contribute to core costs.

- Artworks: All artworks must arrive ready for installation. Artworks must be framed (with D-rings and picture wire). Unframed artworks will be accepted but installation of these works must be agreed in advance and artist must provide suitable fixings (clips, etc).
- Artwork Delivery / Collection: The Artist is responsible for delivering and collecting their work to/from The Bank at the agreed date and time. Specific dates will be organised with successful submissions.
- Transportation of Artwork: The Bank will not cover the cost of shipment of artwork. It is the responsibility of the Artist sole responsibility to arrange for delivery and pick-up of all artwork.
- Insurance: The Bank is not responsible for the insurance of exhibited artworks. It is the artists responsibility to arrange insurance if they wish.
