Wild Suffolk - Open Call Submission

This Summer, The Bank Arts Centre is working with Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils to explore the diverse and enchanting habitats within our local community.

"Wild Suffolk" Exhibition invites people of all ages and backgrounds to create artwork that celebrates the rich tapestry of flora and fauna in Suffolk. Using creativity as a pathway to engage without surroundings, this Open Call serves as a platform to build a greater connection to nature, raise awareness about the pressing biodiversity crisis and explore ways of supporting our environment.

We are accepting submissions of artwork that are inspired by, and celebrate, the beautiful Flora and Fauna in Suffolk. Submissions can include landscapes, close-ups, and creative or abstract interpretations. The work can be any of media, this may include, but is not limited to - painting, drawing, print, sculpture, installations, digital media, photography, and textile.

Submissions are free and open to all.

Part 2 - Artwork Submission Details

Artists may submit up to 5 artworks for consideration for this Open Call. Please provide the information about your submissions below, this information is the artwork title, medium, size, price (if for sale) and an image of the artwork. We will not be able to accept the submission of artworks that do not have all the requested information so please check the form thoroughly before submitting.

The Bank Arts Centre takes 25% commission on the sale of standard artwork, and 10% commission on sales of students artwork (this is inclusive of both under 18's and students in further or higher education). If your work is for sale, please ensure that you include commission in the price. If you need assistance with pricing your work, please get in touch and we can advise. Artworks do not have to be for sale.
