Submissions are now open for The Bank Art Centre's Summer Open Call Exhibition!
This Summer, The Bank Arts Centre is partnering with Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils and The Suffolk Wildlife Trust to explore the diverse and enchanting habitats within our local community. "Wild Suffolk" invites individuals of all ages and backgrounds to create artwork that celebrates the rich tapestry of flora and fauna in Suffolk. Using creativity as a pathway to engage without surroundings, this Open Call serves as a platform to build a greater connection to nature, raise awareness about the pressing biodiversity crisis and explore ways of supporting our environment.
We are supporting The Suffolk Wildlife Trust’s “30 Days Wild” challenge and encouraging everyone to engage with our local wildlife and habitats through creativity! Take your cameras and sketchbook and explore woods, lakes, fields, parks and or even your own garden! Spend time in nature and create artwork that is inspired by our local wildlife and habitats.
Submit your artworks to be featured in the Wild Suffolk Exhibition open at The Bank Arts Centre from
Wednesday 4th – Saturday 28th September 2024.
Submissions are open to all.
There are two categories for submissions – Adults and Under 16’s
Our selection panel will be awarding commendations and prizes to submissions in both categories.
